DIARIES III, by artist J.Bolortuvshin
Participant of 9th Shanghai Biennale 2012, China, artist Bolortuvshin is opening her art exhibition DIARIES III, IN 976 ART GALLERY from 25 July to 14 Aug, 2013. She was born in 1982; studied scenography at the Fine Arts School of Mongolian University of Arts and Culture and graduation in 2003. Right after graduation, Bolortuvshin has started working as a scenographer at Drama Theater of Ulaanbaatar, where she independently designed scenarios for 5 different spectacles, such as “Strippers and Gloomy Street”, “Mad Spectacle”, “Please Borrow Your Wife”, “I Want to be Happy” and “Dangerous Experiment”.
Besides her professional work, she has been practicing as an artist, displaying her artworks through 18 exhibitions locally in the Exhibition Hall of the Union of Mongolian Artists, Xanadu Art Gallery, 976 Art Gallery and Khan Bank Art Gallery and internationally Bozollo Gallery, Czech Republic, Muse Gallery, Italy, Time & Space, 2010, Jeju Art Camp, Jeju, Korea and Mongolian Vision, 2012, Korea. Her two solo exhibitions Diary, 2007 and Diary 2, 2010 are both held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
